The Krasnow Institute within George Mason University: Opportunities for Collaboration and Partnerships

Krasnow Institute, Director, and University Professor, George Mason University

The Krasnow Institute is one of only a few independent research institutions hosted on the campus of a corporately separate university. The relationship presents many opportunities for fruitful collaboration between the Institute and its host university at all levels in addition to some challenges. I will lay out some thoughts on how this close-to-unique arrangement may catalyze the positive interactions, and how the results may be extraordinarily beneficial for both institutions. I'll also review some of the extant examples and suggest some new arenas for working together.
