Krasnow Institute > Monday Seminars > Abstracts Using Response Models to Study the Neural Code Matt Wiener The variability of neuronal responses to multiple presentations of a single stimulus makes it difficult to interpret any single response. We overcome this limitation using statistical response models. This substitutes dependence on the accuracy of the model for dependence on the particular data collected in an experiment. Based on these models we estimate how much of a role temporal coding is likely to play in pattern recognition. The Krasnow Institute for Advanced Study |
